Kitchen Shears

Kitchen shears are heavy-duty scissors used in commercial kitchens to cut poultry, trim fins and fat, snip herbs, open packaging and portion soft items. They handle jobs where a knife and board would be slower or messier.

Kitchen shears are general-purpose scissors for herbs, packaging and trimming. Poultry shears have a stronger, often curved blade and a spring or notch designed to cut through small bones and joints when breaking down a bird.
