A bioplastic bin liner is a bin bag made from plant-based plastic rather than conventional polyethylene. Venues use them where general waste and food waste are separated, so the liner matches the stream the bin is collected under.

Match the liner to the volume and the shape of the bin, then check there is enough length to fold over the rim. A liner that is too small tears when it is lifted out full, and one that is too large wastes material and slips down inside the bin.
