Stolzle Quatrophil

The Stolzle Quatrophil collection at Hospitality Connect holds five glasses: four wine glasses and one champagne flute. Shapes include a Bordeaux glass for red wine and a white wine glass, within Stolzle's Quatrophil stemware range.

Red wine is served in the larger bowl shape, such as a Bordeaux glass, which gives the wine room to open. A white wine glass has a smaller bowl, keeping the wine cooler and the aromas tighter through a course.

Three shapes cover most wine lists: one red, one white and one sparkling. Adding further shapes only makes sense where the list is long enough and the pour high enough for guests to notice the difference.

Stemware is a glass with a stem between the bowl and the base, so a hand holds the stem rather than the bowl. That keeps fingerprints off the glass and stops body heat warming the wine during a course.
