The Vitroceram range at Hospitality Connect covers 75 opal glass tableware products, including plates, bowls and other crockery, souffle dishes, casserole pots with covers and baking pieces. Round, oval and rectangular shapes appear through the range.
Opal glass tableware sits between porcelain and ordinary glass. It has the white, opaque appearance of china and is used the same way on a table, but it is formed from glass rather than fired clay. For a venue the practical questions are the same as for any commercial crockery: does the shape stack, does it fit the racks already in use, and can the pattern be topped up when pieces are lost. Souffle dishes and covered casseroles are chosen by portion size.
