Olympia Mineral is a commercial crockery range, and Hospitality Connect lists 12 Mineral lines. It covers flat, coupe and sloping edge plates, square and rectangular pieces, bowls and leaf shaped dishes for restaurant and cafe service.

A coupe plate has no raised rim, so the eating surface runs almost to the outer edge. It gives a wider area for plating and a cleaner modern look, but it offers less of a lip for staff to grip when carrying.

Leaf shaped dishes are used for side serves, condiments, canapes, tasting portions and small share items. The irregular shape breaks up a table of round plates, which is why kitchens use them for courses meant to look deliberately different.

Twelve Olympia Mineral lines are listed at Hospitality Connect. It is a compact range rather than a full service set, so venues generally use it for selected courses alongside a plain everyday crockery range.
