Collection: Pasabahce

The Pasabahce range at Hospitality Connect covers wine glasses, cocktail glasses, champagne glasses, tumblers and a bottle or jug. Series include Timeless and Napa, with stemless shapes among the wine glass options.

A red wine glass has a larger, rounder bowl that gives the wine more air and room to open. A white wine glass has a narrower bowl that holds aromatics and keeps the wine cooler in the glass for longer.

Stemless wine glasses are harder to knock over and store more compactly, which suits busy bars, outdoor areas and function service. The trade-off is that the hand warms the wine, so they fit casual service better than a fine dining list.

A tall, narrow bowl reduces the surface area at the top of the glass, so the bubbles last longer and the wine stays cold. It also gives the rising bead the visual effect that sparkling service is known for.

Most venues run three or four shapes across a whole service, typically a wine glass, a tumbler, a cocktail glass and a sparkling glass, rather than a separate glass for every drink. Extra shapes add storage, breakage and wash-up cost.
