Tablekraft Soho Reactive Limestone

The Tablekraft Soho Reactive Limestone range at Hospitality Connect covers five lines, made up of plates and bowls. Shapes listed include round plates along with flared and footed bowls, all in a single limestone colourway.

A footed bowl sits on a raised base, which lifts the food off the table and gives the setting height. Kitchens use it for desserts, entrees and small share dishes where the presentation benefits from the dish standing above the plate line.

A flared bowl opens outwards towards the rim rather than curving straight up. The wider mouth spreads the food across a larger visible area, which suits pasta, salads and dishes where the plating is meant to be seen from above.

Most venues build a service from a handful of shapes: a main plate, an entree or side plate, a bowl for anything with sauce, and a small bowl for condiments. Adding shapes beyond that increases storage and the chance of mismatched settings.

Mixing a coloured range with plain white is common practice, using the coloured pieces for selected courses and white for the rest. It keeps the look deliberate while limiting how much of the smaller coloured range a venue has to hold.
