Tablekraft Victoria at Hospitality Connect has eight products: three table cutlery pieces, three dessert cutlery pieces, a soup spoon and a teaspoon. Together they cover a full place setting for mains, entrees, desserts, soups and hot drinks, all in the one Victoria pattern.

Table cutlery is the full-size knife, fork and spoon used for main courses. Dessert cutlery is slightly smaller and is used for desserts, entrees and lighter meals such as breakfast. Many restaurants and cafes set both sizes so each course has the right cutlery.

A soup spoon has a rounder, deeper bowl designed to hold liquid, while a dessert spoon has a narrower, more oval bowl for eating desserts and cereals. Venues that serve soup, broths or ramen usually set dedicated soup spoons rather than using dessert spoons.

A common approach is to order enough of each cutlery piece to set every seat, then add extra to cover pieces in the dishwasher during service. Pieces used on every table, such as knives, forks and teaspoons, usually need the largest buffer.
