This range covers 321 hi ball glasses and tumblers for bar and table service, including tall hi balls, double old fashioned tumblers, water glasses and a small number of wine, cocktail and whisky shapes. Bormioli Rocco, JAB and Duralex account for most of it.

Choosing a tumbler starts with the drink. Tall hi balls suit long mixed drinks over ice, where the extra height keeps the mixer and garnish in proportion. Short, heavy based tumblers suit spirits served neat or over a single large cube. Water tumblers are chosen for stacking, table space and how they feel in the hand. Glassware care and longevity

• Pre-rinse before racking: Sugar from soft drinks etches if left between service and wash.
• Don't shock-cool hot glasses: Hot glass into a cold ice well cracks the wall — let it come down before storage.
• Inspect rims daily: Chipped rims are a glass-shard injury risk in service — pull immediately.
• Stack only stack-rated glasses: Picardie and Bodega Mini stack; most others don't — stacking unrated glasses cracks the bottom.
• Use rinse aid in dishwashers: Reduces water spotting and keeps glasses presenting cleanly without polishing.
