Olympia Kristallon

Olympia Kristallon is a hard wearing tableware range built around polycarbonate, covering tumblers, plates, trays and serving crocks. Hospitality Connect lists 66 Kristallon items for pubs, poolside and outdoor areas, aged care kitchens and events.

Polycarbonate tumblers are clear and close to glass in appearance, which is why venues use them where glass is not permitted. They do scratch over time with heavy machine washing, so they are replaced more often than glass but break far less.

Beer gardens, poolside and pool deck areas, outdoor events, festivals and licensed venues with glass restrictions commonly require polycarbonate. Aged care and healthcare dining also use it, because a dropped tumbler does not create sharp fragments.

Polycarbonate is machine washable but has a maximum temperature that glass and porcelain do not. Check the wash guidance on each product listing, as running plastics through a very hot cycle or rinse can cloud or distort them over time.

A serving crock is a straight sided container used to hold and present food on a counter or buffet, such as salads, sides or condiments. Kristallon crocks are used where a ceramic crock would chip or be too heavy to handle.
