Collection: Bormioli Rocco Milano

The Bormioli Rocco Milano range lists 14 pieces: eight wine glasses including goblets and coolers, five tumblers, and one champagne glass. It gives a bar or restaurant wine, spirit and sparkling service in one pattern.

DOF stands for double old fashioned, a short wide tumbler used for spirits over ice and for stirred cocktails such as an old fashioned or a negroni. Its weight and low centre make it stable on a bar.

Bowl size changes how much air reaches the wine and how aromas collect. A larger bowl gives red wine room to open up, while a smaller bowl holds a chilled white closer to serving temperature for longer.

A flute has a narrow bowl, which reduces the surface area exposed to air and so slows the loss of carbonation. That keeps a sparkling wine or prosecco lively through a longer pour.

A wine cooler is a larger-capacity wine glass. Venues use it for generous by-the-glass pours and for spritz-style drinks served over ice, where a standard goblet does not leave room for both wine and ice.
