Collection: Pakmax Clamshells & Food Pails

A clamshell is a takeaway container with a base and hinged lid moulded as one piece, so it closes without a separate lid. The hinge speeds up packing at the counter and reduces the number of parts a venue has to hold.

Sugarcane packaging is moulded from bagasse, the fibre left after sugar is extracted from the cane. It is used as an alternative to plastic and foam for hot and cold takeaway food packaging.

A food pail is the folded box used for noodles, rice, stir fries and similar takeaway meals. The folded construction holds a deep portion without the food spreading, and the top closes over so the meal travels upright.

Pakmax clamshells are listed by size code, with separate references for different footprints and depths. The dimensions for each option appear on its own product listing, so match the code to the portion size your kitchen plates.
