A scrap trap is a basket or strainer fitted into a sink waste outlet that catches food solids before they reach the drain. It is emptied into the bin during clean-down and is the simplest way to stop a wash-up sink blocking.

A wash down hose reel holds a hose and spray gun on the wall so staff can rinse floors, bins, trolleys and equipment during clean-down. Mounting the hose on a reel keeps it off a wet floor and retracts it out of the way afterwards.

BSP stands for British Standard Pipe, the thread standard used on most Australian commercial plumbing fittings. Checking the BSP size on your existing tap, outlet or hose connection before ordering avoids buying a fitting that will not thread on.

A cold wash down unit runs from the cold supply only and suits general rinsing. A hot and cold unit mixes both supplies at the outlet, which shifts grease and cooked-on soil far more effectively during a kitchen clean-down.
