Andre Verdier Forest Series

The Andre Verdier Forest Series at Hospitality Connect runs to eight lines, made up of cheese knives, steak knives, a bread knife and mixed cutlery pieces. It is a French table knife range used in restaurants, cafes and cheese service.

A cheese knife with a narrow blade and a forked tip is the usual choice for hard cheese, because it cuts through the block and then lifts the piece across to the board. Broader, flatter blades are better suited to soft and semi-soft styles.

Andre Verdier Forest Series pieces at Hospitality Connect are listed as individual knives and as mixed cutlery items, so a venue can buy a single style or build a matched table setting piece by piece rather than taking a full set.

Laguiole describes a traditional French knife pattern with a slim, tapered handle and a fine blade, originally from the Aveyron region. Andre Verdier produces table, steak and cheese knives in that pattern, which is why the shape appears across the Forest Series.

A serrated bread knife saws through a hard crust without compressing the crumb underneath, so slices hold their shape on the board. In a busy kitchen that matters for sourdough, baguettes and any loaf served sliced to the table.
