Stolzle Classic

Hospitality Connect carries nine Stolzle Classic lines: four wine glasses plus champagne, whisky, cocktail and tumbler glasses. The shapes include a flute, an old fashioned and a highball, so the range covers a bar list rather than wine alone.

An old fashioned glass is a short, wide tumbler used for spirits served neat or over ice, and for built cocktails like the drink it is named after. The wide mouth leaves room for large ice and for stirring the drink in the glass.

A flute is tall and narrow so the bubbles rise in a single column and less surface is exposed for the sparkle to escape from, which keeps the wine lively. The narrow rim also holds the aroma close as the glass is lifted.

Most bars run a core set: a wine glass, a champagne flute, a highball, a short tumbler for spirits and a cocktail glass. Anything beyond that is driven by specific drinks on the list, because every extra shape needs its own storage and spares.

Taking one range keeps the shapes and stems visually consistent across the bar and means staff learn a single set of glasses. It also simplifies replacement, because breakages are reordered against the same lines rather than matched by eye.
