Collection: Bormioli Rocco Caravelle

The Bormioli Rocco Caravelle range at Hospitality Connect covers seven lines of clear glassware, made up of tumblers, shot glasses and a cocktail glass. Water and old fashioned shapes are among the tumblers in the range.

Bars choose a shot glass that matches the standard spirit pour they serve, so the glass fills to a consistent level every time. Most venues keep one shot size across the whole bar, which keeps pouring and drink costing consistent between staff.

An old fashioned glass is a short, wide tumbler with a heavy base. It is used for spirits poured over ice and for stirred cocktails, because the wide mouth takes a large ice cube and the weight keeps the glass steady on a bar.

Yes. Venues use shot glasses for spirit pours and layered shooters, and also for small servings such as soups, desserts and sauces on tasting menus. The small, heavy-based shape holds up to repeated handling on a busy bar.

A matched pattern means every glass on the bar looks deliberate, stacks the same way and racks predictably for washing. It also lets a broken glass be replaced without an obvious difference between the new piece and the rest of the set.
