Collection: Chef Vests

A chef vest is a sleeveless kitchen top worn instead of a full chef jacket. It gives torso coverage while leaving the arms free, and is used in commercial kitchens where a long-sleeve jacket would be too warm.

A chef jacket covers the arms and is the traditional choice on a hot line, while a vest is cooler and less restrictive. Many venues issue both and let staff choose by section and by shift.

Yes. This range includes women's cuts alongside standard sizing. Women's chef vests are shaped differently through the shoulder and body, so check the size chart on the individual product rather than assuming an equivalent men's size.

The chef vest range at Hospitality Connect includes Chef Works and Aussie Chef. Both are commercial chefswear brands supplying Australian kitchens, and both also appear across the wider chef uniform and chef jacket categories.

A chef vest should allow full shoulder and arm movement without excess fabric that could catch on equipment. Sizing runs by brand, so use the size guide on the product page rather than the size worn in another brand.
