Stolzle Elements

The Stolzle Elements collection at Hospitality Connect holds ten tumblers. Elements is a coloured tumbler range from Stolzle, with pieces in blue, green, smokey and purple, used for water and cold drink service in bars, restaurants and function venues.

A tumbler is a stemless glass used for water, spirits with mixers, soft drinks and juices. Bars and restaurants keep tumblers in quantity because they turn over faster than stemware and cover most non-wine drinks.

Coloured glassware gives a table visual interest without changing the crockery, and it helps staff tell table water apart from paid drinks. Venues often run one colour for water service and clear glass for everything else.

Tumblers and stemware do not need to match, and many venues deliberately contrast them so water and wine are distinguishable at a glance. What matters more is that every table in the room is set the same way.

Tumbler numbers follow peak covers plus the glasses circulating through the wash, and water tumblers turn over faster than any other glass. Most venues allow well above one per cover so a busy sitting never runs short.
