Collection: Olympia Enamel

Enamelware is metal coated with a fused glass-based enamel layer. The result is a hard, smooth, non-porous surface over a metal body, which is why enamel pieces do not shatter like porcelain but can chip at the rim if struck.

Enamelware is widely used in cafes, casual dining, food trucks and outdoor service in Australia. It suits relaxed service where the utilitarian look is part of the presentation, rather than fine dining where a chipped rim would be conspicuous.

The Olympia enamel range at Hospitality Connect is a small selection covering enamel mugs, dinner plates and sauce cups, listed in white, blue and black. It suits adding an enamel look rather than fitting out a whole venue.

Check the care guidance on the individual product page before putting enamelware through a commercial dishwasher, as it varies by piece. Where a product is not rated for machine washing, hand washing protects the surface and the rim.

A sauce cup is a small open cup for sauces, dips, condiments and small sides served alongside a main plate. In casual service it keeps a wet item separate so chips, bread or fried items do not sit in liquid.
