Hospitality Connect carries 73 commercial passthrough dishwashers, also known as hood type machines, for restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels and institutional kitchens. The range includes hood type passthrough dishwashers and utensil washers, with brands including Hobart, Washtech and Winterhalter.
A passthrough dishwasher is designed to sit between an infeed bench and an outfeed bench so racks slide straight through, so the first thing to check is whether you have room for benching on both sides. Rack size is the second decision, because the machine has to take the racks your glassware and crockery already sit in. Cycle time is the third, and sets how many racks you clear in an hour. Also confirm the clearance above the machine, since the hood needs height to lift.
