Olympia Whiteware

Olympia whiteware is a range of plain white commercial crockery, covering rimmed plates, oval dishes, bowls, cups, saucers and cappuccino cups. Cafes, restaurants, pubs and function venues use it to keep one consistent white service across the room.

Hospitality Connect lists 97 Olympia products in its whiteware collection. The bulk of it is crockery, with a smaller number of commercial cookware, tableware and pizza accessory lines carried under the same Olympia brand.

A rimmed plate has a raised, wider edge that frames the food and gives staff somewhere to hold the plate. A coupe plate has no rim and curves straight up from the base, giving more usable surface for a large serve.

Cafe coffee service needs cups and saucers matched by size to the menu, including cappuccino cups. The Olympia whiteware range includes cups, saucers and bowls, so a venue can keep the same white finish across food and drinks.

Plain white crockery is easier to replace piece by piece as breakages happen, because a white plate matches every other white plate on the shelf. It also keeps attention on the food and survives menu changes without redressing the room.
