Gas Pasta Cookers

A commercial pasta cooker is a boiling unit with a water tank sized to take baskets, so a kitchen can cook portions of pasta to order and lift them straight out to drain. It replaces boiling pasta in pots on a range top.

A single tank holds one body of water, so everything cooked shares it. A double tank keeps two separate bodies of water, which lets a kitchen hold gluten-free or seafood portions apart from the rest and keep cooking while one tank is drained.

A gas pasta cooker heats the tank with burners and needs a gas connection and the right ventilation. An electric model needs only power. Gas is usually chosen where the kitchen already runs a gas cook suite, so the unit sits in the same line on the same supply.

An enclosed base means the cabinet under the tank is closed in rather than open, giving a sealed body that is easier to clean around and can be used for storage. Open base and stand-mounted versions are also made for modular cook suites.
