Apuro single electric fryer with timer, 5 litre 2.8kW benchtop commercial fryer.

Electric Fryers

Electric deep fryers heat oil through immersed elements, giving precise thermostatic control and excellent recovery — often faster than gas on a per-litre basis. They are the standard fit for venues without a gas connection: shopping-centre food courts, high-rise restaurants and leased tenancies.

Hospitality Connect supplies single-phase countertop electric fryers and three-phase freestanding units, with removable elements for cleaning and cool-zone tanks that extend oil life.

Choosing an electric fryer

  • Power supply: Small countertop units run on 10A or 15A single-phase. Freestanding and twin-tank units usually require three-phase.
  • Element design: Swing-up elements make tank cleaning far easier.
  • Cool zone: A deep cool zone below the element traps crumb and extends oil life.
  • Recovery: Electric elements sit in the oil, so thermal transfer is direct and recovery is strong.

Choosing the Right Electric Fryers for Your Business

This range covers 97 commercial electric deep fryers for cafes, pubs, clubs, takeaway shops and function kitchens. It includes benchtop single pan fryers, freestanding units and larger fryers built into a cooking series, with single tank and split tank pots. Waldorf, Lotus and Pitco are among the brands stocked.

Electric fryers suit sites where gas is not available or not worth the install, since they need only an electrical supply and suitable extraction. Tank layout is the next decision. A single tank gives the largest continuous fry volume for one product, while a split tank runs two smaller pots side by side so seafood and chips are not fried in the same oil. Oil capacity, not basket size, sets how much product a fryer takes before the temperature drops.
