Tin Bakeware

Collection: Tin Bakeware

Hospitality Connect's tin bakeware range covers the full prep-to-bake kit a commercial bakery, café, restaurant, or catering operation runs on — heavy-duty baking sheets and full sheet pans, round cake tins, springform pans, swiss roll pans, loaf tins, pudding moulds, and pie dishes — built for daily high-volume use, not domestic light-duty service.

Each piece is crafted from commercial aluminium, anodised aluminium, or stainless steel for even heat distribution and consistent baking results across pastries, breads, cookies, sponges, layered cakes, roasted vegetables, and sheet-pan service. Rigid construction prevents warping under repeated high-temperature cycles, and rolled or reinforced edges add strength for safe handling on busy lines.

Trusted brands include Chef Inox, Bakemaster, Nordic Ware, KitchenKnock, and Wiltshire, with full, half, and quarter sheet pans plus standard imperial and metric cake tin sizes. Trade pricing for bakeries, hotels, and patisseries — fast nationwide dispatch from our Penrith warehouse.

Choosing the Right Tin Bakeware for Your Business

Choosing commercial bakeware

Commercial bakeware is built for daily oven cycling, sheet-pan racks, and dishwasher abuse — the duty cycle that destroys domestic tins within a year. Look for warp-resistant gauges, beaded rims for safe handling, and dimensions that match your oven trays and racks.

Materials and finishes

  • Aluminium (uncoated): Excellent heat conduction, even browning, lightweight. Reactive with acidic batters over time — fine for breads and most cakes, not ideal for citrus or tomato bakes.
  • Anodised aluminium: Hard non-reactive surface, longer life than uncoated, won't pit from acidic ingredients. The standard for production patisseries.
  • Aluminised steel (alusteel): Steel core with aluminium coating — robust, takes deep impact, good for sheet pans seeing heavy daily use.
  • Stainless steel: Indestructible but slow to brown — better for moulds, ring forms, and dough work than for direct baking.
  • Non-stick coatings: Useful for delicate releases (madeleines, financiers) but coatings degrade with metal utensils and time. Treat as a 12–18 month consumable.

Sheet pan sizes — what fits where

  • Full sheet (660 x 460mm): Standard for most Australian commercial ovens — fits combi oven roll-in racks and bakery trolleys.
  • Half sheet (450 x 320mm): Smaller convection ovens, deck ovens, and patisserie applications.
  • Quarter sheet (240 x 320mm): Test bakes, small-batch finishing, café back-of-house.
  • GN 1/1 (530 x 325mm): Combi-oven and gastronorm-compatible — interchangeable with other GN equipment.

Common formats we stock

  • Cake tins: Round, square, springform — 150–300mm common sizes.
  • Loaf tins: Pullman, bread, terrine — sized for standard 800g–1.2kg loaves.
  • Specialty moulds: Madeleine plates, tartlet rings, financier moulds, swiss roll pans.
  • Pie and tart tins: Loose-base, fluted, individual.

More about Tin Bakeware

Why buy commercial bakeware from Hospitality Connect

  • Australian-owned trade supplier: Operating since 2003 with a Penrith showroom and warehouse — see equipment in person before you buy.
  • Real warehouse stock: We hold inventory locally for same-day or next-day Sydney metro dispatch and prompt Australia-wide delivery.
  • Trade pricing for operators: Volume discounts for restaurants, café groups, hotels, caterers, and multi-site fit-outs — talk to us for a quote.
  • Practical sizing advice: Our team knows GN sizing, kW ratings, and bench layouts — we recommend what fits your space and workflow, not what has the highest margin.
  • Bundled fit-out packages: New venue or refit? We coordinate equipment lists across cooking, refrigeration, prep, and front-of-house in a single quote.
  • Strong supplier relationships: Direct relationships with leading commercial brands give us stock priority, warranty backing, and accurate lead-time advice.

Bakeware care and longevity

  • Don't use metal utensils on non-stick: Spatulas and palette knives scar non-stick coatings — use silicone or wooden tools.
  • Wash uncoated aluminium by hand: Detergent reactions can darken raw aluminium — light hand-wash and air-dry preserves finish.
  • Don't shock cold water onto hot tins: Thermal shock warps tins and ruins planarity — let tins cool before washing.
  • Treat non-stick as a 12-18 month consumable: Coatings degrade with use — budget for replacement rather than fighting failed pans.
  • Stack with paper between: Tin-on-tin storage scratches surfaces — a sheet of butcher's paper between extends finish life.
  • Replace warped tins immediately: A warped tin produces uneven bakes — discard rather than persisting.
