Collection: Tablekraft Urban Grey

Tablekraft Urban Grey at Hospitality Connect runs to seven lines of commercial dinnerware in a grey colourway. It is made up of plates, including round coupe and oval shapes, along with bowls and ramekins for sauces and side servings.

A coupe plate is a round plate with no raised rim, so the surface curves gently up to the edge. Chefs use it for modern plating because the food can be placed across the whole face without a border framing the dish.

An oval plate suits food that is longer than it is wide, such as whole fish, grilled cuts, sandwiches and share plates. The shape also fits more easily onto a crowded table than a round plate of the same capacity.

Ramekins hold sauces, dips, condiments and small sides served alongside a main plate. They also work for individual baked dishes and desserts, and they keep wet items off the main plate so the presentation stays clean until the food reaches the table.

Keeping one colourway across a venue makes every table look deliberate and lets plates be swapped between sections without a mismatch. Some kitchens deliberately mix a second colour for a particular course, but the base range is usually kept consistent.
