Collection: Tablekraft Urban Dark Grey

Urban Dark Grey is a Tablekraft dinnerware colourway in commercial stoneware. Hospitality Connect lists four pieces in it, covering round coupe plates and deep bowls for cafes, restaurants and function venues.

Dark grey gives strong contrast to bright and light-coloured food, but pale, beige and fried dishes can lose definition against it. Kitchens serving a lot of beige food usually keep lighter plates alongside a dark range.

A coupe plate has a curved rimless edge and brings food to the centre. A rimmed plate has a flat border that frames the food and gives staff somewhere to hold the plate without touching the surface.

A deep bowl is used for pasta, risotto, grain bowls, curries and soups, where a flat plate would let sauce run to the edge. The depth keeps a portion together and holds heat through a longer sitting.

Yes. Hospitality Connect delivers Tablekraft crockery Australia-wide from its base in Penrith, New South Wales, and offers trade pricing to cafes, restaurants, hotels and function venues ordering the Urban range.
