Collection: Royal Porcelain Chelsea

Chelsea is a commercial crockery range from Royal Porcelain used in restaurants, hotels, pubs and function venues. The pieces listed by Hospitality Connect cover plates, bowls, soup plates and pasta plates in both coupe and rim shapes.

A coupe plate curves up from the centre with no flat border, giving a larger plating surface and a modern look. A rim plate has a flat outer edge that frames the food and gives staff a place to hold the plate when carrying.

The Chelsea pieces listed include round and square shapes across plates and bowls. Mixing shapes within one range is a common way for venues to differentiate courses while keeping the finish and colour consistent across the table.

A pasta plate is a wide, shallow bowl with a raised edge. It holds sauced pasta, risotto and grain dishes that would slide off a flat plate, while still presenting the food across a broad surface rather than dropping it into a deep bowl.

Order enough for a full service to be in the wash-up while another service is on the table, plus an allowance for breakage. Sticking to one range makes replacement straightforward as pieces are lost or chipped over time.
