Collection: Royal Chelsea

The Royal Chelsea Maxim round plate listed by Hospitality Connect is 280mm in diameter. That diameter is generally used as a main course plate in restaurant, cafe and function service.

Around 280mm is a common main course diameter in Australian venues, leaving room around the food without crowding a laid table. Entree and dessert plates are typically smaller, and share plates larger.

Order enough to cover your busiest sitting plus turnover, then add an allowance for breakage and for plates in the wash. Buying a matched quantity at once keeps the tabletop consistent across every table.

Check the rack and machine dimensions before ordering, because plate racks vary between undercounter and passthrough dishwashers. A 280mm plate needs both the rack pitch and the clearance height to suit it.
