Collection: Jackstack

A Jackstack plate trolley is a wheeled frame that holds plated meals in a stack so they can be moved together from a kitchen to a function room, dining room or ward. It is used in banqueting, hotels, catering and aged care.

A thermal plate cover fits over a loaded plate trolley or stack to slow heat loss while plated meals are transported and held before service. It keeps food closer to serving temperature without needing a powered heated cabinet.

Thermal covers are made to suit specific trolley models, so check the model reference on the cover listing against the trolley already in your kitchen. A cover made for a different frame will not sit properly and will lose heat.

Plate trolleys are used wherever a kitchen plates many meals in advance and moves them together: hotel banqueting, function and conference catering, aged care and healthcare dining, and institutional kitchens serving separate dining rooms or wards.

Hospitality Connect lists 3 Jackstack products, covering plate trolleys, plate racks and matching thermal covers. It is a focused range rather than a broad one, aimed at venues that plate and transport meals in volume.
