Curlflow makes commercial bakery equipment. Hospitality Connect carries three Curlflow bread slicer lines, used by bakeries, supermarkets, cafes and institutional kitchens that slice whole loaves in-house rather than buying bread pre-sliced.

A commercial bread slicer cuts a whole loaf into even slices in one pass, using a set of blades held at a fixed spacing. It gives the same slice thickness across a production run, which hand slicing cannot match once volume rises.

Slice thickness is determined by the spacing of the blade set, so the machine is chosen for the thickness a bakery sells rather than adjusted loaf by loaf. Confirm the blade spacing before ordering if you sell more than one slice style.

Check the loaf size the machine takes, the blade spacing that sets slice thickness, the bench or floor space it needs and the electrical supply at the install point. Also look at how the blades are accessed, because cleaning and blade changes are routine work.

A bread slicer earns its place where a venue goes through whole loaves daily and needs even slices for toasties, sandwiches and toast. A cafe cutting a few loaves a day usually manages by hand, since the machine also needs cleaning and blade care.
