Collection: Chef Works Waterproof / PVC Aprons

Chef Works PVC aprons are worn for wet work in commercial kitchens, including pot wash, dishwashing, fish and vegetable prep, and cleaning down. The waterproof front keeps water and splashes off the uniform underneath during those tasks.

A long PVC bib apron covers past the knee and suits pot wash and fish prep where water runs off the bench. A short apron finishes higher, keeps clear of the floor and is easier to move in on a prep bench.

The Chef Works waterproof PVC aprons at Hospitality Connect are listed in black, navy and white. Venues often use a single colour to mark out the wash-up section so wet work aprons are not mixed in with kitchen uniforms.

PVC aprons are usually wiped down between tasks and at the end of a shift rather than laundered with cotton uniforms. That is why many kitchens keep a dedicated set of waterproof aprons for the wash-up and wet prep sections.
