Collection: ALBA

An Alba gelato display is a refrigerated showcase cabinet that presents gelato pans for scooping at a service counter. Hospitality Connect lists four Alba display models, aimed at gelaterias, dessert bars and cafes serving scooped gelato.

A gelato display holds as many flavours as it has pan positions, so pan count is the first thing to check when comparing cabinets. A wider cabinet carries more pans, which lets a venue run a longer flavour list without a second unit.

A squared gelato pan is a rectangular pan that sits in a display cabinet, giving a flat surface for scooping and for decorating the top of the gelato. Square pans line up side by side with no wasted space between flavours.

Gelato display cabinets are used in gelaterias, dessert bars, cafes, restaurants and takeaway shops that scoop gelato to order. They also suit venues adding a gelato counter to an existing food offer, where the cabinet doubles as the point of display.

Measure the width and depth of the counter run the cabinet will sit in, along with the doorway and any turns on the delivery path. Also check the clearance around the unit, since a display cabinet needs airflow to hold temperature.
