Collection: AEROPRESS

Ground coffee and hot water steep together in the chamber for a short time, then air pressure from the plunger forces the brew through a micro-filter into your cup. The whole process takes roughly two minutes, and the short contact time plus fine filtration produces a clean, low-bitterness cup.

For most people the Original or Clear is the right call — they brew identically, with the Clear offering a slightly more refined material and a visible brew. Choose an XL model if you regularly brew for two or more, the Go or Go Plus if portability is the priority, and the Premium or Steel if you want a more substantial piece for the bench.

Standard paper micro-filters fit the Original, Clear, Premium and Go. The XL models use their own larger filter size, so check your model before ordering — this is the single most common ordering mistake

They're designed for single use, but many people rinse and reuse them several times before the paper breaks down. A reusable stainless steel filter is the better option if you'd rather not buy paper at all — expect a fuller body and slightly more sediment in the cup.

Yes. It's widely used in cafés for cupping, single-serve filter service and staff coffee. It needs no power, cleans down in seconds and is difficult to break, which makes it practical behind a busy bench. There's also a World AeroPress Championship, which says something about how seriously the specialty trade takes it.
