Will it cope with a hot kitchen or shopfront?
It is rated to hold temperature in surroundings up to +10 to +38˚C. Keep it away from ovens and fryers, and leave airflow space around the vents so it is not working harder than it needs to.
How much maintenance does it need?
Day to day, very little: it defrosts automatically. Keep the condenser clean and check the door seals regularly.
