No. It plugs into a standard 10A power point and is rated 240V, 250W, 10A Outlet Required. It has no water or drain connection.
Will it fit through my doors?
The unit is 1500 x 700 x 850 mm (W x D x H) and arrives packed at 730 x 1540 x 900 mm, weighing 100 kg net. Measure doorways, corridors and any lifts on the delivery path before ordering.
Will it cope with a hot kitchen or shopfront?
It is rated to hold temperature in surroundings up to 32°C. Keep it away from ovens and fryers, and leave airflow space around the vents so it is not working harder than it needs to.
How much maintenance does it need?
Day to day, very little: it defrosts automatically and condensate evaporates by itself, so there is no drip tray to empty and no drain to plumb in. Keep the condenser clean and check the door seals regularly.
How much power does it use?
It uses 3.15 kWh/24h. It carries a 4 star GEMS energy rating. Actual running cost depends on your tariff, room temperature and how often the doors are opened.
