Do I need an electrician or plumber to install it?
No. It plugs into a standard 10A power point and is rated 240V, 360W, 10A. It has no water or drain connection.
Will it fit through my doors?
The unit is 2005 x 600 x 1080 mm (W x D x H) and arrives packed at 630 x 2050 x 1060 mm, weighing 150 kg net. Measure doorways, corridors and any lifts on the delivery path before ordering.
Will it cope with a hot kitchen or shopfront?
It is rated to hold temperature in surroundings up to 30°C, 55%RH. It is a tropicalised model built for hot conditions. Keep it away from ovens and fryers, and leave airflow space around the vents so it is not working harder than it needs to.
How much maintenance does it need?
Day to day, very little: it defrosts automatically and condensate evaporates by itself, so there is no drip tray to empty and no drain to plumb in. Keep the condenser clean and check the door seals regularly.
How much power does it use?
It uses 2.024 kWh/24h. Actual running cost depends on your tariff, room temperature and how often the doors are opened.
