Stainless care and longevity

• Wipe with the grain: Cleaning across the brushed grain shows scratches; with the grain hides them.
• Avoid chlorine on welds: Sodium hypochlorite pits 304 stainless at weld lines. Use chlorine-free sanitisers around joints.
• Don't use steel wool: Iron particles embed in the stainless surface and form rust spots. Use stainless or nylon scourers.
• Re-tighten leg adjusters quarterly: Vibration and trolley impact loosens leg threads; recheck level and torque every three months.
• Touch up scratches with a stainless polish: Don't leave deep scratches — water sits in them and crevice-corrodes the surface over time.
