Slipbuster

Slipbuster is a footwear brand made for commercial kitchen and food service work. The range at Hospitality Connect covers clogs, trainers and safety shoes in lightweight and microfibre constructions, mostly in black to suit kitchen uniform standards.

Clogs go on and off quickly and have wipeable uppers, which suits chefs working around oil, stock and spills. Trainer styles look more like conventional footwear and suit kitchen hands, delivery staff and anyone moving between the kitchen and the floor.

Safety footwear with toe protection is specified where a site risk assessment identifies a crush or impact hazard, such as goods receiving, cold store work or areas where heavy stock and trolleys move. Check the specification on each product listing.

Black is the default because it fits most kitchen uniform standards, does not show the marks that a shift around oil and stock inevitably leaves, and reads as neutral in an open kitchen where the brigade is visible to guests.

Size for a full shift standing on hard flooring rather than for a short fitting. Feet swell across a long service, so footwear that feels precisely right in the morning can feel tight by the end of a double shift.
