Collection: Pots & Canisters

A canister is a round food container that holds soups, sauces and wet product for service or storage. Canisters sit in steam tables, bain maries and servery openings, and are chosen to match the opening they drop into.

Yes. Covers are listed as their own lines at Hospitality Connect, so a kitchen can replace a lost or damaged lid without buying a new canister. Check which vessel the cover is listed to suit before ordering it.

Check the opening the canister drops into rather than the volume it holds. Product listings state which unit or opening a canister or insert suits, and matching that is what determines whether the vessel seats correctly and holds temperature.

A chafing dish holds cooked food at serving temperature over a heat source, using a water pan between the flame or element and the food. Buffets, functions and breakfast services use them to hold product without direct heat.

All 21 pots and canisters listed by Hospitality Connect on this page are Chef Inox products, covering food containers and chafing dishes. The range is supplied Australia-wide with trade pricing for hospitality and institutional kitchens.
