Hospitality Connect carries five Olympia Kiln Moss lines: four crockery pieces and one cookware item. The range covers round platters, dipping pots, a milk jug and pasta plates, so it functions as a serving set rather than a complete dinner service.

A dipping pot is a small vessel that holds a sauce, dressing or condiment beside the food rather than on it. Using one keeps the portion consistent, stops sauce spreading across the plate, and lets a kitchen serve the same dish with different accompaniments.

A pasta plate has a raised edge and a recessed centre, so sauce collects in the middle instead of running to the rim. That suits pasta, risotto and saucy dishes, and it also keeps the food warmer than a flat plate with no wall around it.

A small range like Kiln Moss is generally used alongside a larger neutral crockery set rather than on its own. Keeping the base range plain and using one accent range for shared plates, sides and sauces gives variety without the table looking mismatched.
