Nadir

The Nadir range at Hospitality Connect includes tumblers and hiballs, wine glasses, beer glasses, champagne glasses and cocktail glasses, across 56 lines in total. It is aimed at bars, cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs.

A tumbler is a short, straight-sided glass used for spirits, rocks pours and soft drinks. A hiball is taller and narrower, holds more mixer, and is used for long drinks such as spirit and soda combinations.

Choose wine glass size by the pour and the wine style. A larger bowl gives red wine room to open, while a narrower bowl suits white and sparkling. Check the glass fits your dishwasher racks and shelf height before ordering.

Australian venues typically pour into pot, schooner and pint sized beer glasses, with capacity chosen to match the standard serve in their state. Shape and rim strength matter in high-volume bars where glasses are racked and washed constantly.

A champagne glass has a tall, narrow bowl that holds carbonation longer and keeps the bead visible during service. A wide tumbler releases bubbles quickly, so sparkling wine served that way goes flat well before the glass is finished.
