Nugget ice (also known as pellet ice) is soft, chewable, and highly efficient for cooling beverages and preserving fresh produce. The FM-480KE-N uses Hoshizaki’s advanced auger system to produce dense, dry nuggets while maintaining water efficiency equal to ice production, reducing waste and operating costs.
This is a modular head unit, meaning it must be paired with a compatible ice storage bin (sold separately), allowing flexibility to scale storage capacity based on your business needs.
