Built specifically for Australian conditions and Australian electrical standards, the Bromic range is the most-specified mid-range commercial refrigeration in the country. Pubs and clubs run Bromic GM display fridges for visible beverage retail; restaurants use UC solid-door uprights for back-of-house prep storage; cafés stock under-bench UBC units for grab-and-go service. Bottle shops, convenience stores and service stations use the full GM glass-door range. The lightbox cassette models (GM0690LB, GM1100LB) are the workhorse for chilled-drink retail.

Bromic refrigeration care and longevity

• Clean condenser coils monthly: Dust on the condenser is the single biggest cause of compressor failure. Vacuum and brush every month.
• Check door seals weekly: Run a dollar bill through the seal — if it pulls out without resistance, replace the gasket.
• Don't overload shelves: Restricted airflow creates warm zones inside the cabinet.
• Defrost on schedule: Auto-defrost cycles need to run uninterrupted — ice on the evaporator chokes airflow.
