Tablekraft Soho — modern PVD-coated 18/10 cutlery
Soho is Tablekraft's modern PVD-coated cutlery range — 18/10 stainless cutlery in matt and PVD-coloured finishes designed to lift the table beyond standard mirror-polished stainless. The HC stock covers four finishes: Soho Matt (brushed satin natural stainless), Soho Ink (matt black PVD), Soho Gold (warm gold PVD), and Soho Rose (soft rose-gold PVD). The PVD coating bonds at the molecular level — durable in commercial dishwasher service when temps stay below 75°C rinse and chlorine-based detergents are avoided.
Range overview
- Soho Matt: brushed satin natural stainless — reads as understated modern, pairs with any table aesthetic.
- Soho Ink (PVD black): matt black across knife, fork, spoon, teaspoon — for design-led restaurants and event venues with strong identity.
- Soho Gold (PVD gold): warm gold tone across the full range — pairs particularly well with timber and stoneware presentations.
- Soho Rose (PVD rose): soft rose-gold finish for venues seeking a contemporary feminine table aesthetic.
- Set sizes: 24-piece sets (service for 6) and 56-piece sets (service for 12 with serving pieces) — full table-ready packaging.
- Loose pieces: box-of-12 trade packs across table knife, table fork, dessert knife/fork, soup spoon, dessert spoon, teaspoon for retrofit and replacement.
Material and use case
All Soho cutlery is 18/10 stainless steel — 18% chromium for corrosion resistance, 10% nickel for shine retention. The PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating is a true bonded molecular finish, not a paint or surface treatment. Properly cared for, the colour finish lasts years in commercial dishwasher service. Avoid abrasive scourers, chlorine-heavy sanitisers, and sustained rinse temperatures above 75°C — these are the three main causes of premature PVD wear. With reasonable care, Soho Ink, Gold, and Rose finishes look as good after 5 years as they did on day one.
Working with our team
Hospitality Connect's catalogue depth in this category reflects 21+ years of supplying Australian commercial venues — single-supplier convenience across appliances, smallware, and consumables means fewer purchase orders, consolidated freight, and consistent specification advice from a team that's seen most operational scenarios before.
Specification matters more than buyers expect — undersized or oversized purchases waste both capital and operating cost. Our trade team spec'd thousands of fitouts across cafés, restaurants, hotels, function venues, and contract kitchens, and we'll match recommendations to your venue brief rather than push the catalogue.
